UK Government calls Act of Free Choice ‘utterly flawed’ during historic parliamentary debate

The UK Govenrment described the 1969 Act of Free Choice as ‘utterly flawed’ during the first-ever House of Common debate dedicated to discussing West Papua. MPs from numerous political parties raised concerns over human rights violations and the historic denial of West Papua’s right to self-determination.
