Free West Papua Campaign Newsletter October 2013

We are sad to report that many West Papuans continue to be beaten, tortured, imprisoned and killed. Despite this the people continue to defy the Indonesian authorities by staging mass protests across West Papua. We report below on a large crackdown with hundreds of arrests but we are very pleased to infrorm you that following urgent action campaigns everyone who was arrested on this demonstration has been released.
