Demonstrations around the world held in support of the Pacific Coalition for West Papua’s UN address

This week as the 7 countries of the Pacific Coalition for West Papua (PCWP) made an historic address at the United Nations Council on Human Rights, demonstrations were held around the world in support.

Inside West Papua, demonstrations were held in Port Numbay/Jayapura, Timika, Wamena and Mamberamo organised by the West Papua National Committee (KNPB).
Inside Indonesia, the West Papuan Student’s Alliance (AMP) alongside the Indonesian People’s Front for West Papua (FRI-West Papua) rallied in Jakarta, Bandung, Bogor, Denpasar (in Bali), Yogyakarta and Semarang.
Meanwhile in Australia, Free West Papua Campaign – Australia organised a gathering in Perth to also held a demonstration expressing their thanks and support for the Pacific Coalition for West Papua.
